Still working on my paras, even if I haven't been able to do much lately. At least I've managed to complete my Vickers MMG team and a 6pdr AT gun with crew.
I've got my hands on some
Battlefield / Blitz paras to flesh out my 2nd platoon, and they are very nice and well researched figures. Hopefully I'll be able to get some shots of them once I complete my last batch of my original AB/SHQ/TQD lot.
Thomas has kindly donated me a box of AB and SHQ paras that he had lying about (I think he got them off
Leif originally), and another jeep, and they will be used to create a 3rd platoon, which will take me to full company strength. The jeep will do nicely to complete a full recce squadron.

And if I ever find that 6lb gun, you shall have that too. Lost in the Lead Mountain at the moment, though.
Nice. What make is that 6-pounder? I think I have a bunch of Airfix 6-pounders lying about which I can donate.
@ Thomas, Leif - the more 6 pdrs, the better ;-) Of course, they also had a couple of 17 pdrs at Arnhem, that came as a painful surprise for the Germans...
@ Leif - it's SHQ, to be exact FBG045, British 6pdr Mk4 Anti-Tank Gun (Airborne Version). Costs £7.

Well, the airfix ones should do fine, just snip of the extra bits from the gun shield like the paras did.
They are in a big box in storage right now though so you have to wait a while.

@Laffe - no problem, it's not like I don't have anything else to paint at the moment - what with the 30 or so Blitz figures I got and that box of AB and SHQ I got off Thomas and you ;-)
